Images for respite, curiosity, discovery and inspiration

RESPITE
My images are born from a curious eye for color and beauty. My talent for photography is eclipsed by my desire to “see” the potential of our earth’s unlimiting uniqueness. I invite you to look and have some moments of stillness. I invite you to share things you discover from the pictures — it will be my education. As I move to a different realm, I hope you come into the picture with me.

CURIOSITY
The place where I live, the upper Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, has such richness of history and natural beauty. There seems to be endless opportunities to look at things from so many perspectives.—every day there is a fresh thought. I bring this curiosity with me wherever I travel. I want to hear your suggestions for new places to visit and experience,

DISCOVERY
Discovery takes courage, a leap of faith and a sense of wonder. Most of all TRUST that something new will be that serendipitous opportunity to grow. What better way than through food. I cook like I think: quick, a tad messy and without any boundaries. It works for me — except this system isn’t forgiving when it comes to remembering how I got there! Alas, someone will bail me out or t’will be gone forever.
(a photograph can record the occasion , though!) “Eton Mess”
